Puppy Love

Emma' not been feeling so hot so Kira is trying to lick her and make her feel better. Emma is of course trying to get away. She only wants Kira on her terms. I think she's trying to cut some teeth, but it could be because I'm getting over a cold. I'm sure she's also sick because Green Bay is not going to Super Bowl. I was so disappointed I wanted to cry. Now I'm not even sure if I'll watch the Super Bowl. Gotta go finish getting ready for work. I hate going when she's sick. She's so cuddly.

9 month stats

Little Miss Emma is turning into quite the chunk. She was 20 lbs 150z and 29 in. long. She's 90th% for weight and 95th% for height. I'm hoping that since she's more mobile she'll slow down a little. I want a little petite girl. Plus I want her to stay small. She's growing too fast. She's mastering her skills at climbing on things and is starting to lean against objects so she can grab at things while standing. She has a shoe fettish. It's really disgusting. Noone can leave shoes out or she'll eat them. Also if the boys leave their bedroom door open she beats feet in there. So many wonderful things to put in her mouth. NOT!!! I caught her the other day knocking over Kira's food and almost got some in her mouth. She's discovered the dog door but has yet to venture out it. I'm sure it's coming soon and well have to keep the gate to the kitchen closed. So even though she is getting into everything and there isn't a moments rest, she's an absolute pleasure to be around. I don't know how we all managed without her. She is truly our complete blessing from God (which is what her name means).

Happy 14th birthday

My baby turned 14 today. We had a little party on Friday night while his cousins from Oregon were here. I can't believe I have a teenager. I'm too young. I'm told they get better as they get older. Thank God, because if I thought this is how it would be forever he'd have to go. :0) Colin, Jon, Mike, Erik, Vern and Karie went out riding the quads and buggy on Thursday. They had a really good time. Emma and I stayed home and did housecleaning and errands. WOOHOO!!!! Mike and Jon left saturday morning and everyone misses them. They'll be coming back for their spring break so it'll give us something to look forward too.
