Well I'm a little late in getting pictures of the playdate posted. No surprise here. Life gets so busy and blogging takes a back seat. Although I don't think any of my family ever looks at this so some days I wonder why I do it. So for my family if you do look at this could you drop an email? Enough crabbiness.

We took the boys, my nephew and sis in law to Big Surf the end of July. What a blast we had. So much fun I think I maybe took a couple of pictures and that was right before we got busy. Thanks to Anjee for watching Emma so we could all play. I'll be there to return the favor anytime.

Colin started high school on Wednesday. What a bittersweet day. It's exciting but sad at the same time. My baby is growing up. Before too long he'll be driving. How scary is that. I remember back when he started kindergarten, how little he was. Now he's taller than me. He's taking NJROTC this year which I'm very excited about. He's debating between going for his markmanship or being in the drill team. I think he should do both but what does his old mother know.....Someday he'll grow up an realize that I know what I'm talking about. I know when I was his age my parents were "stupid." Now that I'm an adult (esp since my kids) I realize my parens were pretty smart and I would have saved myself alot of heartache if I'd of listened to them. But I'm one of those stubborn people who have to find out the hard way. Hopefully Colin doesn't follow in my footsteps. He's a pretty good kid even though we have issues. It's tough being a teenager. Your not a kid and you're not an adult so you're trying to find your place in this world. Ok enough of the nostalgia...Emma will be up soon and coming through like a tornado....How did I get a teenager and a 1 yr old?????? Hopefully it's good birth control for the boys. I know it reminds me that even though the boys are pretty rotten somedays they used to be just as cute as her. It makes them easier to love.
Colin on his first day of high school. I wish I had a digital one of his first day of Kinderarten. If I find it I'll get it scanned and post it.
